ChromaGen contact lenses have been developed to help people with color vision deficiencies or dyslexia. The contact lenses have color filters that are individually adjusted to the customer. It is believed that these color filters stimulate the cones and rods in the eye and add the missing color pigments. They make colors and shades more distinguishable and more clear and bright.
The color nuances seen increase from 2000 to 6000. In dyslexics, the filters work in harmony with the visual pathways and help to compensate for the disruption in visual processing.
ChromaGen contact lenses do not provide a cure, but they make everyday life easier for those affected and can help them cope with it more easily.
