Keratoconus / -globus

The eye disease keratoconus refers to the progressive thinning and cone-shaped deformation of the cornea of ​​the eye. Those affected are usually short-sighted, but glasses cannot completely correct this due to the exceptional curvature of the cornea, so that vision is usually below average. Contact lenses are well suited to replacing the irregular surface of the cornea with a smooth one.

Ortho-K lenses

Orthokeratological contact lenses (also known as Ortho-K lenses, night lenses or Dreamlens) correct your vision while you sleep. The flexibility of the cornea is used to temporarily model it based on the force of the lens in such a way that optimal vision is achieved. Depending on the level of the refractive error to be corrected and the condition of the eye, it takes 3-5 days to reach the maximum potential.

ChromaGen lenses

ChromaGen contact lenses have been developed to help people with color blindness or dyslexia. The contact lenses have color filters that are individually adjusted to your vision. It is believed that these color filters stimulate the cones and rods in the eye and add the missing color pigments. They cause colors and shades to be better distinguished and perceived more clearly and brightly.
